We are up and running again!
Hi Everyone,
We are sorry the site went down in January but as you can see we are beginning to rebuild it and hopefully make it even better! Unfortunately we have lost the list of registrants so everyone will have to log in anew.
Since starting my research in 2000 I am pleased to see so much more is available to only children but support in the form of our forum is still quite rare.
I have not yet finished my second book although it is planned out - and I have a great deal of material! I just need to sit down and get it finished - this year!
I still receive really useful emails from www.onlychild.org and at present they are only available there. However in March the site should be back to normal with lots of stories and emails.
In the mean time please join the forum and send any of your stories you would like to share with either just me or others to: adultonlychild@gmail.com. nothing is published without your consent.

Good to have this online. I've read quite a lot about the experience of being an only and wanted to read 'Only Child Experience and Adulthood' but it's so expensive everywhere. I would have thought it better to sell at a more reasonable cost with the revenue being made up from higher sales. I don't know how the publisher can justify such a crazy price. There are other similar books available for a quarter of the cost which I'm sure sell many times more copies. I have a few friends, all onlies, who share the same interest, but none of us have read the book for this reason.
